I generally wait 45 days before sending in a copy of the letter and CRRR to the corresponding CRA's. However, you should get a letter from RJM informing you that they have permanently closed your account and that an update is being sent to all CRA's they report to. I received my letter from RJM in about 2 1/2 weeks. I then forwarded it to the corresponding CRA's for deletion. It was done start to finish in 1 month.

As RJM is a debt buyer and as such I'm sure purchased this account, this should be the last you will hear of this account. Make sure you retain a copy of their letter, just in case. If you havn't done so yet, you need to start individual files on all collections and keep copies of all correspondence in their separate files. This way you can keep your story straight.
