So, there is no problem with the hospital billing? Everything down to the last section of toilet paper? Are you sure? Have you actually viewed a detailed billing of what was done?
Do you know the total amount from the Hospital? If there is any discrepency at all, such as, I received no meds as listed on this invoice on this date, or I did not receive this many wigits I only received... or I didn't receive this or that ? Dispute anything and everything. You must start the dispute with the Hospital and ask that they retrieve your account from the CA.

If the above is not applicable in your situation then you will have to deal with the CA.

If this is the case, I would immediately cease sending any money to this CA until you have a Written Agreement which obviously will include no interest, no combining of accounts, or maybe a lump sum settlement offer and always include removal of their Trade Line.

I'm sure you can account for the amounts you have paid them. After you nail the CA down to an agreed upon amount, then throw in all payments made to reduce your balance further. It's kind of like buying a car and not telling the sales person that you have a trade in until you've agreed upon a price. CA's in my opinion arn't hard to beat at their own game. Go get-em girl.
