If this debt is for early termination and they sent you a copy of the agreement that you signed and in this agreement it allows for the early termination fee, then I believe I would try to settle with them. Agree to pay them in exchange for removal of their Trade Line. Generally the amount for early termination is not over $200.00. It would be worth it to me to have their Trade Line removed so I could better my Credit Score. Make sure any agreements are in Writing or you have no agreement.
