In my opinion, a CA is a CA, they are all no good and I never deal nicely with them. I make a full court press for deletion or I take them to court.
I send out only one validation, C&D, and dispute letter and sit back and wait for the violations to happen. I then use their violations as serious leverage against them to Zero out the debt through negotiations and mutual agreements. You can do the same.
