After reading my settlement agreement, its seems there are some things I can talk about. I was contacted by a collection lawyer about a debt that was not mine but still showed up as a collection account on some of my credit reports, but the original account never was there bcause it wasn't mine. After a few unproductive telephone calls, I lawyered up. Lawyered filed a complaint naming everyone as a defendant (law firm, firm's employees, ca, & cra's). Everyone had to get their lawyers, settlement was reached for damage to my credit reputation, so i got more than 1000 per violation. Lawyer was really good and I had really good notes from my phone conversations.
