Of course they can, they question is will they?

It costs approx 200 to file and serve summons, the lawyer has to show up in court (avg fee= $325/hour). So the probability is rather low they will sue you for 100.00. There is no discount for mass lawsuits.

You might want to call and advise them that you need a temporary suspension of your agreement until your financial situation improves.

usually- unemployment is exempt from garnishment.
