1. There is no contractual relationship.

2. Mr Black pulled the credit report without any authorization and then announced that he would be co-signing the loan. (Not necessary- not wanted-)


3. Is it worth the loss of a friend..in this case yes.

We suspect that this is only the tip of the iceberg and that Mr Black and company were going to use this to generate income to themselves at the expense of Mr White and possibly Mr White's reputation.

Thanks for your input.

I know a good consumer lawyer and will point Mr White in that direction if he decides to go forward.

I guess this should be reported to the FTC.
