Make sure you have individual SNAIL MAIL reports. The on-line ones are OK once you have opted out and done some amount of cleanup. The 3 in 1 reports are worse than useless.

Start by correcting personal information, deleting old and/or incorrect addresses,misspelled names etc.

Dispute the older accounts as OBSOLETE.

Dispute 2 or 3 at a time.DO NOT dispute as "not mine" by itself, dispute as "not mine, no account for this date from this creditor".
