Andrea, were you set up initially to pay by auto check draft as an online account? Cingular may still come back and draft the amount back out of your checking account. It is not a good idea to give Cingular information for auto draft or debit, as I'm sure you know now. They will do the same if you give them your credit card information for auto debit. Just calling in and telling them verbally to stop, is not enough with Cingular. I would immediately change my bank account to keep Cingular out of it.

If they havn't sent you a detailed billing of calls made, then ask them to fax it to you. As for you keeping your phones turned on, you will probably have to pay the bill and work out your differences when you receive your detailed billing. They will probably not give you any money back, only credit your account against future purchases unless you are closing your account with them.
