After reading your post as well as all other posts, I still think your best bet would be to have both accounts separated and validated individually, I would most certainly ask for a C&D and dispute. It would not be cost effective to sue you, even if the accounts are within SOL. In my opinion, neither account can be validated because of the many assignee's and/or owners. Part of your objective is to have all negative listings removed from your CR. By sending the letter and by the CA's not being able to validate will stop them. Additionally, if they violate the C&D, which I'm sure they will, you have the leverage and bargaining power to zero out your debt, without paying anymore.
