A CA can place their Trade Line as soon as they receive the account or they can wait and use it for leverage to get the debtor to pay or they don't have to put their Trade Line on your CR at all. Some OC's require the CA to place immediately. It doesn't sound as if they violated any provisions of FDCPA.

Now that they have your validation and dispute letter, lets see if they validate or if they add dispute to their Trade Line listing or if they decide to close this account permanently.
