One, you need to file an objection to the motion for summary judgment. Detail your objection: ie no valid proof of debt In this case, you might consider hiring an attorney to represent you. Judges will often walk all over an unrepresented party. go to www.naca.net and consult all the attorneys in your area. Consultations are free and they can tell you what your prospects are...pick the one that is most willing to work with you and that you feel comfortable with. The law is a tricky animal and a good lawyer can find ways to dispute things that you never considered. Whatever you do, don't let them get a summary judgment. The appeals process is not easy- many lawyers even have someone else do this part of the process for them. Good luck
