You will have to continue on with validation, dispute and C&D letters to see if the new CA will violate FDCPA. When they do, (and the CA always does), you will then have the leverage needed to zero out this alleged debt and have it removed from you CR.

You do not need to send a copy of the previous CA's letter.

One thing to add to your validation letter, is to ask whether or not the CA is the assignee or the owner of this account and to provide proof along with validation.
