I have a medical bill in the amount of $309 that was charged off by the OC. A CA sent harsh, threatening letters for collection in the past, and before I learned so much from you people, I sent them two $25 payments out of fear and naivety. I am now choosing to send Why Chat's HIPAA letter to the HC Provider with the full payment due.
Is the $50 payment that I sent to the CA just lost money now? Or can I send them a validation/C & D asking for them to forward any money collected to the OC? Thanks.
