Yes, and you should ask for validation, because if they can't provide validation in court they lose. Things like a copy of your signed application, copy of your revolving credit plan agreement, line by line ledger style accounting of your alleged debt to support their claim. Make sure they know that all of this must come from the OC and not from their records or printouts. If and when you go to court, and there is no validation of your debt, or there is just bits and pieces, ask the Judge to Dismiss with prejudice, the Plaintiffs Petition, for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted. The Judge should give you a Dismissal. I have done this as well as others here I'm sure. You may or may not wish to review this with an attorney, as this is not to be construed as legal advice.
