OK - I will go ahead and send a verification request to them, I was afraid it would stir the pot if the debt IS within SOL - however I am fairly sure they WERE charged off in 1999 - early 2000. I requested validation from the CA's and got nada - however, the CA's are not on credit report other than one inquiry each which should come off in a month or two... So next letter go to the OC's, and if they don't reply I will follow your example and send the letter to CRA if they do not respond.
