If you actually have the money to settle this debt with the CA or the attorney, and you fully understand settlement and what is involved, then make your offer in lieu of litigation. If you are unsure about settlement, then have your attorney handle this for you. I'm very sure they will settle with you if your offer is reasonable. So you can stop worrying about going to court. Unless my information is obsolete, I show the SOL in PA. on CC debt to be 6 years.
