This was how it happened -

Having received a letter from a lawyer about my debt with first select, I call FS to arrange payment plans. We had agreed to a payment plan over the phone, the lady had me acknowledge the plan for some type of recording. A letter was then sent from the lawyers stating that FS and I had an agreement for the payment plan. I do owe the debt, I was unable to make payments to them by calling in, presumably when Cerdigy took over - and they haven't sent any other communication to me since. Should I call the lawyer and try to work out some type of settlement?
