Wow....and I mean Wow

I just found this site today, have a head-ache from all the reading...lol.

Got a letter from a Law firm and a car that was repo'ed in 1995/1996??? in Tennessee is now going to cost me $18,000. The last letter we got stated that the car was sold at aution for $1,800 and we still owed $3,200 in 1996. So in the 7 years sense the cost has risen almost 5 times......Wow.

I guess that my question would be that even thou I am living in Fl. now what should I do?

I am not sure that a Judgement has been issues, havn't seen my credit report so guess I should get a copy.

If I pay the Credit Acceptance Corporation, the original creditor=OC?, would I avoid the extra 13 to 15 thousand in fees...?
