You can certainly ask for anything you want, however "validation" as requred by the FDCPA may do you NO good in Court.

Depending on the type of Court, the State, the District, and the qualifications of the Judge, the plaintiff will be able to prove his case with whatever type of proof THAT Judge in THAT Court finds credible.

You cannot present a"defense" of FDCPA violations. You can and SHOULD require proof of their claim, but most Courts will not require a copy of your signed application, or a complete accounting, UNLESS you have claimed ID fraud, or usurious or illegal charges.
