filing Bankruptcy - any tips?

i have decided to file for chapter 7. will see attorney in a week. i have read a lot about the process, of filing, the marks on the credit etc. but is there anything else i need to know that i would not read in a book? i live in Calif. i have almost 12,000 of unsecured debt - almost 50k in student loans (i know they can't be dc'd). no assets except a car, paid for, and i do work fulltime but the job is low paying. i am going to school to get training in a field that will bring in 2 times what i make now, but probably won't be in the field until next fall. i am single and have no children. i never ever ever want to return to this place again. never. any tips, advice?
