Got a call around 6pm last night with an automated message from "Brenda Adams" about important personal business, NOT a solicitation call, saying I had to call "TODAY" (yesterday). I tried the 800 number out of curiousity since all the CA's I had to deal with I sent a DV to and got no response and the ones that HAVE validated the debt at some point or all in limbo waiting for my settlement negotiators to call... SO I figure this is some poor CA who was lumped with a debt that a former CA couldn't validate.

The message I got when I called was that it is "The Network Group." Of course business hours are 8-5 mountain time (a little odd for a CA) and it give phone number with a 422 prefix (no area code though) to call if it an emergency.

I did a little googling and BBB search and found that 3 out the 4 "The Network Group" businesses listed on BBB are computer, IT, webhosting and management. The 4th one "did not provide the BBB with information regarding it's area of business, nor did it have a phone number.

I DO have a website, and the domain registration is up in 2 months, but it is with a company called Intense Host - not the Network Group.

SO do I call??? DO I watch my PG reports like a hawk??? Or do I just wait till they send something in the mail???? I am leary of doing that since I have had 2 CA's in the past who WOULDN'T send anything via mail, and just went ahead and filed suit when I wouldn't return their calls....
