How much equity do you have in your home ?? What state are you in ?? If your equity is within the allowed exemptions, they CAN'T take your home from you !! If you have not claimed your exemptions, then you need to do and FAST. It is NOT all that common for a creditor to force the sale of a home for such a small amount. Most of the time a lien is about all they can get.
