"The Statute Of Limitations only covers lawsuits" and "The statute of limitations (SOL) for a delinquent debt is the time limit for the creditor to file a lawsuit." It seems to me that the above statement covers the non-filing of the lawsuit and even though they filed a claim with me for the debt they did not file the lawsuit within the SOL. This seems to make your statement innacurate judging by the opening statement.

I certainly would value another opinion or explanation.
