Just got a call from a "Katherine" (nice alias!) from Aspire Visa about a past due account. She said that if payment is not made right away, the account will be reported "like a repossession for 7 to 10 years." She also said that they can repossess the items that were purchsed with the card. How stupid can someone be! I told her that was full of s**t, that credit cards are unsecured accounts and that she needs to brush up on her, uh, credit knowledge. She then just started going on about when I will be making a payment, etc. I told her you'll find out when you receive it. She then said that I will call you every day until payment has been received. I said I'm not impressed and that I am a "hard nut to crack." She then hung up. Unbelievable!
