I recently have had to deal with the named company. My roommate and I had an apartment lease with Home Properties, Inc. We had all kinds of troubles with our lease also. When we were ready to leave, they took us to court and won their case despite the judge siding with us on how poorly we were treated.
Two months later, we received a letter from PHS stating we had a debt with them. When I called them up to inquire about it, I was treated very rudely by an employee, David Trapp. I ended up in a heated debate with Mr. Trapp that lead nowhere. Days later, Mr. Trapp called me back all apologetic and wanted to work with us. We set up a payment deal with PHS and had made 2 payements to them. Last month, we hada shortage of cash and tried to tell PHS about it. Mr. Trapp was very rude about it all again and claimed no deals were ever made. Basically, he was saying I fabricated the whole story, which was false on his part.
Two days ago, we got another call from Mr. Trapp. He left us a message with his extenstion and his supposed supervisor's extension.
Today, we called his supervior and got more grief from the supervisor. Mr. Kent Banks basically screamed at my roommate telling him, "it was his office and we couldn't tell him what to do in his office and we had no authority in his office." He said he was going to basically write us off without any more negotiations whatsoever.
