You do not need to research your situation, just tell us what State you are in, and if you have any assets like a home with a lot of equity or a paid up late model car or anything else that would show up on property or motor vehicle records as a lienable asset.

You can send a cease and desist,validation, dispute letter once you are sure you are "judgment proof".

That means you do not have to pay them anything.
