Will, thank you for your reply. There are still however some things that I am not clear on. On my credit report my Providian account reads "paid/account charged off". It was to my understanding that I paid the card off in full. Thats one question. The second thing I dont understand is my Providian "credit limit/original amount/high balance reads" $500/$1086, First Select corp.reads N/A $2869. This amount is the same exact amount of another "delinquent" account on my credit report which was never mine; it does not match the Providian amount. Was this an error on the credit companys part? How do I fix this? Also, I have begun the despute process with both the credit card companys and the credit report companys. Is it true that if I dont hear back with in 30 days the items have to be deleated from my report? Thank you for your time.
