Collect America bites the dust...

Checked PG late las night and Collect America has been removed from my Equifax file!!!! It only took 3 validation letters and three disputes to TU and EQ. But finally after everything they put me through they are GONE - at least from my report.

I was wondering though, I had an ACA complaint all written up and ready to go on these guys, should I send it in the hopes that I get in writing from them that they know nothing of my account and that I can look forward to a Collect America free future....

I'm just leery of going on with life without being absolutely certain they are not hiding in the wings waiting for a sneaky time to validate and then try to collect all over again (SOL is up in Jan 2004). They only have a few weeks in which to legally file suit I know but I want it in writing that they are backing off. Should I still file the complaint as though I don't know they have been removed from my report?

The violations on Collect America are petty compared to teh complaint I'm filing with the SAG about their peudo-attorney collector.... THAT complaint is going through regardless of what Collect AMerica does...
