For petesakes--even Roy Cooper oughta know THIS one. Here is the statute of limitations, literally:

"NCGS § 1-52. Three years.
Within three years an action -
(1) Upon a contract, obligation or liability arising
out of a contract, express or implied, except those
mentioned in the preceding sections or in G.S.
1-53(1). [none of which apply to CC debt]"

So sue them for malpractice! Maybe they were thinking of SOL for criminal prosecutions, which is generally forever in NC.

Send them cease-comm letters like the one at www.budhibbs.com and further tell them the SOL is long gone. I'm in Raleigh and if they keep bugging you, email and we'll talk about fixing them for good.
