At least experian lets you put a 'statement' now on items...

When you dispute online, and they say they've already 'investigated', you can add a statement to that item which is diplayed on your credit report.

This is not the same as the general statement for the entire report.

You can select "I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF THIS ACCOUNT" for as many of the items you wish.

I'm not sure how good this actually does you, but at least it's something there on your report that wasn't there before, and it would let someone know that you are disputing this entry.

As far as I know, experian is the only one that lets you do this at the moment.
