Exactly - NOTHING ! They hold no LEGAL enforcement at all, they are private citizens, maybe with some kind of licensing, but that doesn't give them any legal 'weight'. No PI is going to chase debts anyway. If someone is being told that they're talking to a PI, its likely just some moron from a CA who thinks he's found another angle on getting information.
