The people promoting this stuff just want your money. Following their program does nothing that wouldn't happen if you just quit paying. In most cases, if someone doesn't pay credit cards because they can't afford to, the banks will not sue them, just sell the balance to a collection agency. If he doesn't pay the CA's either, eventually the debtor will indeed have a zero balance without paying anything, but at the expense of years of harassing calls and ruined credit.

Their theories that certain banking practices are unconstitutional are pure BS. They're the same people who say income tax is fundamentally illegal. It's fun to talk about while reloading at the local gun club, but it will buy you nothing in court. Every judge will laugh at you, and apply the maximum penalty that they can. Think about it for a minute; if a judge did rule that a fundamental banking practice were unconstitutional, it would instantly place billions and billions of dollars in jeporady. The whole economy would collapse, at least for a few minutes until the next judge up the line overruled it.

Finally these schemes fail the basic test for get rich quick schemes. If these promoters really had a secret way to make credit card charges and avoid repaying them, why do they need to solicit money from others? Why are they telling anyone about it at all?
