No, I do not have a lawyer with this one. I have been pro se so far as nothing up till this point has been more than I could handle. You are absolutely correct; I do not plan on representing myself pro se if I go to a higher court. I have enough knowledge that I may be able to “draft” my own complaint, but the final version will be up to the attorney’s discretion.

My understanding was not the same of the higher courts. My understanding was that a suit for disciplinary action could be filed in the higher courts. However, I might be wrong about this. Anyone know?

The first time they sued, they dismissed WITH prejudice before it ever got to this point. It never went before the judge. I could care less how much time it takes –the longer they wait, the more money it is going to cost them.

Yes, they have many infractions under the FDCPA as well as the FCRA. A counter suit would be well in place. I have known that, but have sat on it, thinking let this case ride, then put both cases together and hit them with a bigger lawsuit, enlisting disciplinary action.

They take advantage of people, and it is a shame that it is allowed to continue. This is my motivation for suing them. So that people can educate themselves, and so that maybe some type of disciplinary action can occur. It is so wrong that their blatant abuse of the legal system is allowed to continue.

Thanks for all the help!
