Can creditors go after a SEPP IRA account?

I live in NY. My employer has a SEPP IRA (simplified employer pension plan) plan and it appears that I have no choice (as an employee) in whether or not I want to participate. My employer must, by law, contribute on my behalf.

The question is: Can OC's and/or CA's seize the money in that account?

Thank you.

Sandra
