You can rent from private parties with either a BK or 15 charge offs. I’ve rented a house and a condominium over the past three years and asked the owners not to run credit reports on me. First, last, and security deposit along with a professional appearance help. In one of the instances I didn’t even have a job at the time of signing the lease. Try that at an apartment complex. If you look clean cut and honest, you won’t have a problem.
