As for why they would seize my accounts even if I'm paying, that's just it. They don't care. When your account gets to the point where it drops off your credit report, they sometimes choose to seize.

They are not obligated to accept payment arrangements from me, you know? They are within their legal rights to simply TAKE IT and sometimes they do.

I don't know if it will happen but I want to protect myself as much as possible.
