NY and Conn. do not allow a foreign default judgment to be entered in their States.

In States where a NY default judgment has been attempted to be entered IF the State has an "quid pro quo" statute in it's code, i.e. if a default judgment from OUR State cannot be enforced in your State, then yours cannot be enforced in this State.

The Courts have ruled (when an attorney smart enough to raise the issue has done so) that a NY default judgment is not enforceable in another State.
