Asset is a criminal enterprise from top to bottom. You should get a consumer attorney to go after them. There is a growing cottage industry of lawyers who make their living suing collection agencies. Collection agencies may only be liable for $1000 statutory damages, but they are also liable for ALL attorney fees in suing them. If you have a good case, a lawyer will take it.
