Per Spears v. Brennan and the FTC Wollman letter, proper validation requires a copy of the signed agreement AND a complete accounting of the debt - that means copies of ALL statments, from day 1, showing all charges/payments/fees, etc. to prove the balance they claim you owe.

While I can see that charge slips can be used against you and can be accepted by a judge as 'proof' of the debt, it does NOT prove the balance they say you owe, it only shows you used the card.
