Why request a surety bond before a trial? The only thing that it will do is give them the knowledge needed to get one before the trial. I am not a lawyer and this is my personal opinion. I think the only thing you need is to request validation CRRR. Keep the licenscing and surety bond knowledge as an ace up your sleeve. It may come in handy at the trial if you have to let it slip before the judge that they don't even have a license to collect.

On strategy, my advice is keep the cards that you can before you and don't let anyone see your hand.
