I am in Michigan. Filing chapter 7 January 2. I had to wait to file because I had to change the title on my car to add a secured party. My attorney told me the waiting time on any change of a car title before or after bankruptcy is 90 days. I have been trying to find the law where this is stated. Can you tell me where I can find this or if this is true. The only reason I ask is that I am getting more and more hesitant about using this attorney. I'm not 100% comfortable with her.
