A$$et Acceptance

I live in Florida. I believe DOLA is 11/17/2000 to the Original Creditor (providian)

Providian sold account to Asset Acceptance. My question is as follows:

Does a debt purchaser have a permissable purpose to pull a hard inquiry after they purchase the debt?

They are giving me pure HELL!!!!!!!!! Can anyone help?
