I was sued by First Resolution, Pennsylvania does not have licensening laws. Did they sue me legally? I was served, and the law suit stated that they paid almost 6,000.00 for the debt. That would mean that they paid full price for the debt according to my Citibank statement. I now know that they are at least a collection agency, I really thought the whole thing was some kind of scam. I too tried to find out who they were. The law suit was for just under 10,000. They sued in small claims court. My attorney advised a chapter 7, so that is what I did. Still curious about these people though.
