Anyway, I tried all the "list" sites of non-ChexSystems banks and had no luck. Every FI that I tried sent me a letter back stating that my request for an account was denied due to my ChexSystems record, and they were listed on the NonCS sites.

I was finally able to obtain an account, however, by sitting down with the manager of my employer's bank and explaining my situation. I negotiated a "limited" account to prove my "worthiness". He was really good about it and over-rode the ChexSystems denial. At first, I could only write 10 checks per month and had a small monthly fee, but it made it easier to handle my payroll and child support checks. I did this for a year to "prove myself". I now have an unlimited account with the same bank and watch it like a hawk. I guess you could say I've become extremely protective over it.

I can't promise anything, but if you are denied again, it's worth a shot (you kind of have to swallow your pride). They may do it, especially if your employer is a good customer; They want to keep their customers happy. GOOD LUCK! Hopefully you have better luck with the list than I did.
