Recently I received a few letters from an attorney's office that they are attempting to collect a debt from me. I've never heard of this debt, but the letter says the debt is 21 years old and was an $80 loan my (then) husband took out from the bank (without my knowledge). They are now trying to collect that money from me and say that I owe over $200.00 now. I am in MO so i think the SOL is 5 years, but does that apply for loans also?
