I wouldn't pay them anything unless they delete their whole Trade Line. Marking it as paid, or paid as agreed, or anything else still leaves their foot print on your CR and doesn't help your Credit Score. Always go for deletion, in return for payment. Tell them no deletion, no money. It serves the CA no purpose to leave their Trade Line on your CR after it is paid or settled. Tell your attorney to get tough and stop being a pussy.
