Thanks for the responses. We have pressed them for why they can't give us a written statement of the conditions of the settlement agreement; they respond that it is "Sears policy." They also set a deadline of Dec. 20 to receive the payment, after which, they claim, the offer will be nullified. Since we're dealing with CitiCard rather than an outside collection agency, I assume the Cease and Desist letter we sent them won't have any affect. Is there another way to stop the harassing calls while we try to sort this out? Thanks again for the advice!
