help need to know what to do

I have this CA RMA after me, they have been calling me but they never send anything in the mail. Friday they left another message on my cell phone (thats not even in my name) that a complaint has been filed aganist me and to call them imediately, just before they hung up the lady told someone there to call my morgage company. I live in ohio, and this was charged off in 08/00. when I refinaced my house, the bank sent a payment to these people citi ascociates a 20 months ago( this did not bring the acct up to date it was already a charge off), I owe 19000 after the payment from the title co.I never heard from anyone for over a year and a half now all of a sudden RMA starts calling the man wanted a check over the phone for 10,000 back in oct threatened me with legal action I ask him are you taking leagal actionhe would not answer me he told me he was citi bank, then he said they were retained by citi bank, when I wouldn't pay over the phone he stoped calling now some other lady is calling I haven't been answering her calls, RMA has called my parents house, and told the it was about case #--- called me on my cell phone over 30 times, they got the # when my mom called me at work and I called them from it .The phone is in my fathers name but I use it. They are not listed on my cr the debt is list to citi ascoiates, but citi asociates never contacted me its just RMA, they are getting real nasty, the dola I'm not real sure when it was. I know it was way before the charge off date in 8/00. I don't know if I should try to settle this with rma, I would like to pay these scumbags nothing, how do I know if I need to get an Atty. or if they are just trying to intimadate me. I should tell you the bank sent the ca money around 5000, I don't have anything in writting saying this was a settlement. So any advice on what to do should i just sit and wait to see if they are going to sue.
