I checked my credit report and I have a 181 posted default from RJM acquisitions. From searching on the Internet it seems these people do business with Fingerhut whom I bought 1 item from in 1998. I paid the bill, but had a fire and have lost all documentation.

I will call them and pay this in the short term, but is there anything that can take this off of my credit report?
